I just published a new piece of music!

It’s a story about devotion to life.

I call this piece ‘Infantasia’: a fusion of the words Infant and Fantasia. The state of consciousness I attempted to capture is that of a new and fresh start, full of excitement, a hesitation that rises and then a complete and innocent let-go into the adventure.

At first I called it a song but now I call it a piece, because I came to the conclusion that the musical experience is the main thing and the words only support the music, and not the other way around as happens in a song.

What usually interests me when I compose is to capture a state of mind that I am in and present it through music. listening to music should take the listener to that state of mind.

I am especially excited to share this piece, because it is a piece of me. Both the melody and the words came to me completely intuitively, and also the illustration – I barely “interfered” in the process, if you know what I mean… so it feels to me like I just gave birth to it from within me.

In addition, this is the first time I let people hear me singing solo.
